About the Partnership
Lydiard Park Academy (the partnership’s lead school) is an oversubscribed 11-18 academy with a high Ofsted rating and an excellent reputation within the Swindon area. The academy is housed in purpose built facilities on an attractive site bordering Lydiard Park in West Swindon. The academy includes recently added sixth form facilities and a small Special Resource Provision for pupils with autistic spectrum condition (ASC).
Abbey Park School is an 11-16 school. The school enjoys excellent facilities in recently-constructed, purpose-built accommodation situated in Redhouse, North Swindon. It shares a campus with three other schools, one of which is our primary partner (Red Oaks Primary School).
Commonweal School is an 11-18 academy with a recently added sixth form which is housed in new purpose built accommodation. It has a good Ofsted rating and a long-standing reputation within Swindon as a school with consistently high standards. It is situated in Old Town, Swindon and provision at the school also includes a small Special Resource Provision for physically impaired children.
Highworth Warneford School is an 11-16 academy situated in the pleasant market town of Highworth, just a few miles to the north-east of Swindon. The school has a proud tradition of academic excellence coupled with outstanding pastoral care to ensure each pupil is recognised as an individual within the school community and given the chance to thrive. The school is housed in purpose built accommodation and is a popular choice with families from Highworth, surrounding villages and the north-east side of Swindon itself.
St Joseph’s Catholic College is an 11-16 Catholic school with a good OFSTED rating. As a Catholic College they take the education of the whole person very seriously and encourage young people to develop academically, physically and spiritually in a nurturing environment. St Joseph’s has a central Swindon location.
Red Oaks Primary School is a thriving primary school serving the Redhouse area of North Swindon. It has modern, purpose-built facilities and educates over 500 pupils from nursery through to Year 6. As a fully inclusive school, Red Oaks also includes two Special Resource Provisions, one for pupils with complex learning difficulties and the other for pupils who have a hearing impairment. Pupils at Red Oaks Primary School make consistently strong progress across all subjects and the school has held a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating for a number of years.
Orchid Vale Primary School is a well regarded, community focused primary school and nursery. It has modern, purpose build facilities with almost 400 pupils.
